Allen Wendall Oliver's Obituary
Allen Wendall Oliver, 87 of Greensburg died Sunday September 8,
He served in the U.S. Marines. He attended Hope High School. He was a registered Indiana Artist, volunteering at the art gallery at the Commons Mall in Columbus and at Greensburg art gallery. He was a lifetime member of the greensburg V.F.W. He enjoyed painting, photography, and music in which he could play several instruments.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m . at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lower Presbyterian Cemetery with a military graveside service.
Born January 22, 1926 in Indianapolis, Allen was the son of Hester and Ollie Rambo Oliver.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Greensburg Art Gallery through the funeral home.
Survivors include a sister, Waneta (Morris) Goodwin of North Vernon; brothers, William (Peggy) Oliver of North Vernon and Dennis (Rita) Oliver of Titusville, Fl. and several nieces and nephews.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Lillian Oliver and a brother Glenn Oliver.
