Allen F. Pierce's Obituary
Allen F. Pierce, 59 of Holiday, Fl., formerly of Hope, passed away Sunday February 28, 2010 at his home.
He was retired from the Columbus City Fire Dept. where he was a 30 year member.
He was a past president of the U.S. JCI Senate, a member of the Hope Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Sons of the Legion in Dunnedin, Fl. He had attended the Hope Baptist Church.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Jerry Crouse officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 at the funeral home. A Masonic Memorial Service will be at 8: p.m. Friday. Cremation is planned and burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the U.S. JCI Senate Foundation through the funeral home.
Born June 28, 1950 in Columbus, IN, Mr. Pierce was the son of Carl E. and Eileen F. Pierce of Hope. He married Connie S. Bailey on December 11, 1971 and she survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Sonya (Brian) Lodestein of Columbus and Beth(Shawn) Snyder of Hope; grandchildren, Bailey and Tyler Branstetter and Devon and Chloe Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his brother Kevin Pierce.
