Alma O. Baute, 83 of Dover, Florida, formerly of Edinburgh died September 5, 2009 at the Hospice House in Sun City Center, Florida.
She had worked in the Dietary Department at the Franklin Methodist Home.
She was a member of the Edinburgh Church of Nazarine.
She loved playing cards and was an avid collector of several things.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Joseph Wilson
officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born on Mar. 31, 1926 in Campbellsville, Ky, she was the daughter of Taylor and Stella Riddle Scott. She married Forrest Franklin Baute and he preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include; sons, DeWayne F.(Loretta) Baute of Columbus and David Franklin (Beth) Baute of Dover, Fla.; siblings, Gertrude Bartley of Columbus, Letha McKinney of Plant City, Fla., Jeanetta Waltz of Ninevah and Raymond Scott of Franklin; grandchildren, Krystin Baute, Bryan Melanson, Debbie Johnson, Anita Cabrera, Corrie and David Burch and Shane Hadley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Shirley Ann Smith; siblings Bernice Stone, Orvil Scott, John T. Scott and Beaulah Mae Lee.
