Anita Beryl Elrod, 76, of Hope passed away Saturday October 9, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born January 19, 1945 in Greensburg she was the daughter of Paul Roberts and Beryl Bockover Ryle.  She married Billy Lee Elrod and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2009.

Anita was a member of Faith Chapel Church.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Anita had worked in the factory at Print Pak and before retirement was employed at Lear in Edinburgh.

She is survived by children, Robert (Brenda) Elrod of Shelbyville, Michelle (Chuck) Caldwell of Hope, Katrina Stolze of Hope, and Windee (Anthony) Miller of Columbus; grandchildren, Brittany (Dustin) Grubbs of Shelbyville, Breanna Elrod (Adam Hart) of Shelbyville, Christopher (Makayla) Caldwell of Columbus, Jacob (Sara) Driver of Columbus, Ashton Stolze of Greensburg, Marrissa Stolze of Brownstown, Kesha Jones of Hope and Natasha Beard of Greensburg; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Paula (Tom) O'Mara of Greensburg, Pam Fasnacht (Rick Oliver) of Greensburg and Penny Creech (Todd Pieczonka) of Greensburg; her step-mother, Marcella Roberts; her beloved dogs, Boo Boo and Midget; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Anita will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Church, 10950 N Marr Rd., Columbus, IN 47202.  Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will be at Union Baptist Cemetery in Decatur County.

Memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude's Children Hospital.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandson, Brandon Elrod and brothers, Paul Roberts, Robert Wesley Roberts, and Edward Roberts.
