Archie Franklin Burnley, Sr. 66 of Columbus died Wednesday April 11,
2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Mr. Burnley had worked st Enkei and Rand McNally. He was a member
of Trinty House of God. He enjoyed softball, basketball and football.
The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Pastor Elmer Barger officiating. Calling hours will be Saturday
from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Brown County.
Memorial contributons may be given to Hospice Of South Central Indiana.
Born in Anadarko, OK. on May 2,1945, Mr. Burnley was the son of Joe
D. and Channie Walker Burnley. He married Patricia Moore on Feb. 28, 1975
and she survives
Other survivors include children Peggy Townsend (Roger Burton) and Archie F
Burnley, Jr. both of Columbus; grandchildren Zackary C. (Christa) Townsend,
LaKeysha D, Dylan M., Taylor L, Savannah Nicole and Shayla J. Burnley;
great grandchildren Michael Sharp, Elijah Goodpaster, Nevaeh Petro and
Kiara Chrisp; siblings Azelene Burnley-Williams, Violet Burnley, Ora Lee
Roberts-Crisp and Zelda Cozart all of Oklahoma and Louise Roberts-Harrod
of Kansas.
Mr. Burnley was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Edith,
Lucille, Ovanda , Johnnie and Horace Roberts and Cozzie Roberts-Miller.
