Barbara S. Drake, 58 of Columbus passed away Sunday January 18, 2009 at Hickory Creek Health Care Center. She had been employed by Richardson Molding in Columbus for several years. She loved to sew, read and spend time with her family. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday January 21 at 2:30 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 until service time on Wednesday. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery in the town of Flat Rock. She married Dennis Drake on August 5, 1972 and he preceded her in death in 1977. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy(Charles) Maynard of Columbus;a son, Kenny Drake of Indianapolis; sisters, Brenda(Reed) Moss of Hope, Frances(Donneal) Cottrill of Columbus, & Karen(Tony) Caudill of Busy, Ky.; a brother, Stephen(Norma) Bierlein of Columbus and grandchildren, Jocelyn & Olivia Maynard of Columbus.
