Bertha Mae Sneed, 89, of Hope, passed away Saturday July 10, 2021 at Miller's Merry Manor.

Born December 20, 1931 in Johnson County she was the daughter of Hubert and Mary Miller Renner.  She married Jack L. Sneed December 17, 1950 and he preceded her in death April 16, 1998.

Bertha was employed for many years as branch manager at Irwin Union Bank in Hope.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope, Royal Neighbors of America, ABWA, Kiwanis and was Grand Marshall of the Hope Heritage Day Parade.

She enjoyed crocheting, Hauser Sports and spending time with family.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 am at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Dennis Chasteen officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm and one hour prior to service Thursday.  Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Bertha is survived by a son, Mark Sneed of Hope; grandchildren, Chris Robbins (David Burns) of Commiskey, Katie (Greg) Lovins of Columbus, Jamie (Michelle) Sneed of Indianapolis, Ryan (Anna) Sneed of Indianapolis, Leah (Dane) Konetzka of Hope, Brooke (Tyler) Graves of Columbus and Danielle Sneed (Logan Caffee) of Columbus; 13 great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild; sisters, June Gilliland of Hope and Clora Marie Mize of Hope; a brother, Ralph Renner of Columbus; daughter-in-law, Dorinda Sneed; and several nieces and nephews.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, David Sneed, Jeff Sneed, and Gary Sneed; and brother Norris Dale Renner.
