Betty Jean Barrett, 62 of Greensburg passed away Sunday February 8, 2026 at Franciscan Health, Southport.

Born March 24, 1963 in Greensburg Betty was the daughter of Daniel "Dale" Tichenor and Jaunita "Faye" Powell Tichenor.  She married her high school sweetheart Tim Barrett July 18, 1982 and he survives.

Other survivors include, her mother Faye of Greensburg; children, Samantha (Allen) Strunk of Georgia and Dewey (Breanna) Barrett of Greensburg; grandchildren, Cheyanne Dryer of Greensburg, Wyatt Dryer of Vallonia, Brayden Barrett of Greensburg, Jayden Barrett of Edinburgh, Evalee Leab Paducah, KY, and Levi Strunk of Franklin; Wanda (Mike) Orr of Westport,

Eddie (Becky) Tichenor of Napoleon, Debbie (Morris) Alexander of Fairland, Brenda (Larry) Abplanap of Napoleon, Kenneth (Deanna) Tichenor of Columbus and Robert (Nanette) Tichenor of Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews.

There will be visitation for Betty Wednesday February 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Her funeral service will be Thursday February 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery.

Monetary donations may be donated to American Heart Association.

Betty enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her father and siblings, Cheryl Cunningham and Gary Tichenor.
