Betty Jean DeBusk, 81 of Columbus died Sunday January 23, 2011 at the
Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
The funeral will be Saturday January 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Rev. Ed Boston officiating. The visitation will be Friday from
4 - 8 pm and on Saturday from 1:00 until service time. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to Aging and Community Services of South Central Indiana.
Born March 23, 1929 in Johnson County, Ky, Mrs. DeBusk was the daughter of
Gilbert and Ruby Gibson Pope. She married John Robert "Jack" DeBusk and he
preceded her in death in September 1986.
Survivors include; sons, Steve (Rita) Debusk and Rodney (Susy) DeBusk of
Greensboro, NC and Mark (Nancy) DeBusk of Hartsville, IN; grandchildren, Tiffany
(Keith) Roberson, Jackson (Natalie) Lee and Katy Lee of Greensboro, NC, Meredith
DeBusk of Nantucket, MA, Sarah (Ryan) Caron of Ottawa, Ontario, Zachary (Emily)
DeBusk of Raleigh, NC, Erick DeBusk of Asheboro, NC, Bailey (Ariel) DeBusk of
Columbus, IN. Kate Rogerson of Charlotte, NC and Alex Rogerson of Waldron, IN;
great-grandchildren, Laura Roberson, Jacob Roberson, and Henry Lee of Greensboro, NC,
and Aubrey Caron of Ottawa, Ontario.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sisters, Juanita Berkenstock
and Allene Boilanger; daughter-in-law Laura DeBusk; niece, Cheri Hawkins and nephew,
Terry Ziegler.
