Betty J. Proffitt, 76, of Columbus, former resident of
Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015
at Kindred Transitional Care.

She was a housewife and caretaker. She enjoyed
crocheting and loved her dog, Angel.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman
Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.
until time of service. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Baptist
Cemetery.

daughter of Raymond and Doreen Stoughton Williams.
She married Leonard Proffitt on October 11, 1958 in
Columbus and he precedes her in death.
