Brent S. Herron, 59, of Columbus died Friday June 14, 2019 at Columbus Regional Health.
He was a maintenance employee at PCA, previously known as Columbus Container.
Born March 7, 1960 in Columbus, Brent was the son of Gary Herron and Virginia Turpin Troin.
He married Deanna Cowin June 24, 2000 and she survives.
Other survivors include, his mother; sons, Matthew Herron, Shane Herron and Tanner Herron, all of Columbus; a grandchild, Maddox Herron; brothers, Trent, Jeff, Bob and Todd Herron; several nieces and nephews and his father-in-law, James Cowin.
The funeral for Brent will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Mike Warner officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
Brent enjoyed watching NASCAR and sports and loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Ralph Herron and his father and a granddaughter.
