Bruce Anthony Barriger, 75 of Hope passed away Wednesday November 13, 2024 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born September 18, 1949 in Columbus he was the son of Delmos R. Barriger and Patricia Barriger.

Before retirement Bruce was employed for 30 years at Cummins Engine Co.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Bruce is survived by a son, Brian A. (Angie) Barriger of Hope; grandchildren, Maylee Barriger, Addyson Barriger, Jacob Barriger, Nathan Barriger, Ryan Barriger and Yogi Barriger, all of Hope; siblings, Randy (Rob) Barriger of Columbus, Greg (Liz) Barriger of Columbus, Karen Barriger of Columbus, Dee (Kenny) Sandlin of Edinburgh, Mike (Bobbi) Barriger of Salem, and Scott (Angie) Barriger of Whiteland; previous spouse and good friend, Sandi Barriger and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation for Bruce Tuesday from noon to 2 at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with a service following at 2:00 p.m.  It will be officiated by his son, Brian Barriger.
