Carol Ann Adams, 78, of Greenwood, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Aspen Trace Living Community in Greenwood.
Carol spent most of her life as a homemaker and had worked at Famous Footwear.
She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, and loved animals. Carol loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Born on June 5, 1940 in Greensburg, Carol was the daughter of Lewis and Mabel Fassold. She married William Adams on September 27, 1958, and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2001.
Survivors include children, Pam (Jeff) Layton and Greg (Jackie) Adams, both of Greenwood; grandchildren, Erica (Grant) Jenkins of Carmel, Brianna Layton of Atlanta, GA, and Jenna Shearer of Greenwood; and great-grandchildren, Layton, Liam, and Lennox Jenkins of Carmel.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Keith and Kevin Adams; one sister; and four brothers.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Day, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
