Carol J Carter's Obituary
Carol J. Carter of Columbus died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Carol worked for the Baldwin Piano and Organ Company as a cost accountant for 28 years before retiring in 1995. She lived for many years in Cincinnati,Ohio before moving to Columbus in 2007.
She enjoyed going to movies, reading and going to the theater. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Columbus.
Her wishes were to be cremated and have a private graveside service with her family at the Moravian Cemetery in Hope.
Carol was born on July 10, 1930 to Jon and Iva Carter of Hope. She is survived by a son Dean Nester of Denver, Colorado; two grand daughters Crystal Nester of Greenly, Colorado and Heather Nester of Denver, Colorado; a nephew Jerry McKinney of Hope and a niece Barbara Carr of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Helen McKinney and Pauline Workman ; brothers Ralph, Hurley, Harold and Emerson Carter and a son Gary Carter.
