Carolyn Anne Harvey, 85, of Newbern, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg.

Born on October 14, 1936 in Hartford City, IN, Carolyn was the daughter of Charles N. and Jennie Peck Lambert. She graduated from Clifford High School. Carolyn married Eddie Lee Harvey on June 25, 1960, and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2008.

Carolyn spent most of her life as a homemaker and had worked in the office at Cummins in her earlier years. She was a member of Newbern United Methodist Church. She spent her time being involved in the church, and enjoyed singing and being in the quartet. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, sewing, and crocheting. She loved spoiling her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Anthony "Tony" (Sandy) Harvey of Vernon and Kelly (Andy) Kennedy of Hope; grandchildren, Connor (Lexi) Kennedy of Shelbyville, Chloe Kennedy of Hope, Graham Kennedy of Hope, and Cole Harvey of Vernon; great-granddaughter, Josephine Kennedy of Shelbyville; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie; and her brothers, Maurice Lambert, Dale Lambert, and Franklin Lambert.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Snodgrass officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
