Charles R. "Bob" Zeigler, 82 of North Vernon passed away Thursday November 3, 2011
at Hospice of South Central Indiana.
He was a retired City of Columbus employee and a TV Technician.
He attended Light House Full Gospel Tabernacle and was a member of the Indiana
Auctioneer Association. He loved ministry, playing his guitar, singing, fishing and he was a
professional clown.
The funeral will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Albert
Parrigin officiating. The visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am until service time. Burial
will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Born on December 7, 1928, in Flat Rock, IN, Mr. Zeigler was the son of Arthur and
Dottie Burton Zeigler. He married Marie Tyree on September 18, 1954 in Cloumbus and
she preceded him in death on April 26, 1996.
Survivors include children, Betty (Ron) Robbins, Delores Hilderbrand, Bill (Reigna) Zeigler,
all of Columbus and Charles Zeigler and Bonnie (Tom) Watkins of Muncie; grandchildren,
Darrel Burton, Tim Mourey, Bobby Mourey, Samantha Timmons, Brian Watkins, Russell
Watkins, Julie Horn, Crystal Hilderbrand, John Zeigler, Kevin Zeigler, Kyle Zeigler and
Abigail Henderson; seventeen great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents,wife, brother William Zeigler, and grandson Tommy
Watkins Jr.
