Christopher Robert Bushey, 41, of Hope, passed away March 21, 2021.

Born March 20, 1980 in Columbus, Chris was the son of Robert D. Bushey, Jr. and Sheila Ramsey Caldwell.

He is survived by his mother and step-dad, Sheila (Jim) Caldwell of Columbus; sisters, Jamie Lynn (Jeff) Ruff of Elizabethtown, Stacy Case (Andrew Hartwell) of Hope, and Cassandra (Kiel) Molitor of Columbus; nephew, Logan; nieces, Serenity, Shealee, Rylee and Melody; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris had previously attended Northview Assembly of God Church.

He loved volunteering for Hope Summer Playground.  He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and singing, riding dirt bikes and cutting down trees.  He was a big jokester and loved spending time with his family.

Visitation for Chris will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home.  A private family service will be conducted by Randall Burton.  Cremation will follow.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Norman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses or to Hope Summer Playground.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Bushey, Jr.; brother, Justin Nicholas; uncles, David and Herby Ramsey; cousin, Bruce Ramsey; grandparents, Albert Leuellen, Gladys Leuellen, Robert Bushey, Sr., and Mary Bushey.
