Cleota Ann Drake, 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday September 14, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

Born April 5 1933, in Brown County, Ann was the daughter of George and Gusta Walker Coy.  She later moved to Johnson County and then to Shelby County when she was 6 years old when Atterbury started.  She married Floyd "Bud" Drake December 10 and he preceded her in death October 16, 2000.

Ann was a member of Norristown Eastern Star.

Ann was a farmwife and baked wedding and special occasion cakes.  She enjoyed quilting, flowers, going to the cabin in Brown County and spending time with her family.

Visitation for Ann will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home.  There will be a private family burial at Patterson Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Patterson Cemetery at 2916 W. 850 S., Shelbyville, IN 46176.

Ann is survived by children, James (Mildred) Drake of Shelbyville, Karen Hammond of Ohio, Janie Burns of Flat Rock, Jerry (Rita) Drake of Edinburgh, Tom Drake of Shelbyville, Larry (Cindy) Drake of Shelbyville, Terri (Mike) Runnebohm of Shelbyville, Mary (Kevin) Cangany of Flat Rock and Jennie (Jeff) Chrisman of Edinburgh; 22 grandchildren; 36 great children.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; son Marvin Drake; grandson, Joshua Drake; great grandson, Daniel McDonald and siblings, Dorothy Legan, Kenneth Coy and Ival Coy.
