Cynthia Ann Deiwert Gosney, 66, of Hope passed away Sunday February 11, 2024 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

Born December 21, 1957 in Columbus, Indiana Cindy was the daughter of Dean Rex and Mary Margaret Burney Deiwert.

She graduated from Hauser High School in 1976.

She was previously employed at Flat Rock- Haw Creek School System in the cafeteria.

Cindy was a member of Outreach Church and a previous member of First Baptist Church of Hope.  She was active in Journey Through Faith.  She was a member of Jaycee Women Congress Women and State Community Development Vice President of Indiana Jaycee Women.  Cindy enjoyed Southern Gospel music.  She had a deep love for the Lord and enjoyed fellowship with other people.

Cindy is survived by a daughter, Samantha Jo (Angel) Fields of Hope; grandchildren, Kylie Jo Gosney and Taigen Michael King both of Hope; siblings, Sara (Dwight) Carter of Hope, Jane (Jim) Sturgis of Palm Coast, Fl. and John (Connie) Deiwert of Bargersville.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a celebration of Cindy's life at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Norman Funeral Home in Hope.
