Darlena Lynn Barrett, 57, of Greensburg  passed away peacefully Monday August 3, 2020 as her family surrounded her.

Born December 12, 1962 in Rushville, she was the daughter of Bill and Carolyn Sue Cowins Murphy.  She married Gary Lee Barrett June 27, 1982 and he preceded her in death May 23, 2020.

Darlena was of Baptist Faith.  She loved playing bingo, video games and cards.  She enjoyed puzzle books, watching soap operas and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

There will be a visitation for Darlena Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home.  There will be a private funeral officiated by Keith Dover and burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.

Survivors include children, Michael Paul (Stephanie) Barrett of Greensburg, Jeffrey Lee Barrett of Greensburg, Gary Dwayne Barrett of Greensburg and Jennifer Lynn Davis of Greensburg; grandchildren, Marina Lynn Davis and Matthew Lee Davis of Greensburg; siblings, Randy (Rosemary) Murphy of Westport, Steven Murphy of Seymour, Brian (Jodi) Murphy of Westport and April Lee (Matt) Williamson of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.

Darlena was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband, Gary and sisters, Sheila and Ashley Murphy.
