Darrell C. Holder, 67, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at St. Francis
Hospital, Greenwood, Indiana.

He was born August 10, 1946, in Columbus, Indiana, to Claude
and Lucyetta Holder. In 1964, he married Sonna L. Hamilton and
together they had two children, Ian Holder and Katie Holder Ryan.

Darrell served in Vietnam with the Indiana National Guard's,
Company D (Ranger) 151st Infantry. He was a Purple Heart and
Silver Star award recipient. He was a Mason of the Hope Masonic
Lodge No. 150, and served as Worshipful Master in 1977. He
worked at Indiana Bell for 27 years and was a square dance
caller for 40+ years.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Sonna; his children, Ian (Traci)
Holder and Katie (Jason) Ryan; and grandchildren, Claire and
Kenlee Ryan.

Funeral services will be held at Norman Funeral Home in Hope,
Indiana, on Thursday July 31, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held
on Wednesday, July 30, from 4 to 8 p.m. Masonic service will be
held at 8 p.m. following visitation.
