David R. Adams, 68, of Edinburgh, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at his home.

Born on November 14, 1957 in Johnson County, David was the son of Shirdin and Vada Campbell Adams.

Before retirement, David was employed as a brick mason.

He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and spending time with family.

Survivors include his son, David Dillon (Airika) Adams of North Vernon; grandchildren, Shalyn Monuz, Gregory Evans, Dillaini Asher, and David Judah Adams; siblings, Hila Illing of Marion, IN, Anna May Zieleniuk of Columbus, Emilee (Alvin) Stedium of Columbus, Wallace (Jeanett) Adams of Trafalgar, Linda (Sonny) Brown of Edinburgh, and Jim (Joyce) Adams of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ila Hounshell, F.C. Adams, H.C. Adams, Carol Duncan, Roger Adams, and Sara Bennett.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service. Cremation will take place following services.

Memorial contributions may be given to Norman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
