David O. McCarrell "Red" 52, passed away at his home, in Nashville, Indiana on Thurday January 15th after a brave battle with cancer. David was a loving husband to Karen and a loving Father and Grandfather. He was proceeded in death by his parents, David and Annie McCarrell.Survivors include children, Tony, Stacy, Cody, Gerald & Gary and brother Jesse McCarrell and 3 sisters, Vivian Burton, Sharon Marr, and Paula McCarrell. David was a former Decorator for the George Fern Company and for the past 3 years enjoyed a partnership with his wife, establishing the Howl'n Dog Inn located outside of Gnawbone, Indiana. Visitation with the family and a celebration of David's life will be held at Saint Agnes Church in Nashville, Indiana on Friday, January 23rd from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will begin at 6PM with refreshment immediately following. David enjoyed collecting Elvis and Beetles memoriabilia. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
