David L. Sneed, 65, of Hope, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at IU Health Methodist Hospital.

David was a carpenter and worked in the family business with his father and brothers.

Born on August 8, 1952 in Bartholomew County, David was the son of Jack and Bertha Renner Sneed.

Survivors include daughters, Chris Sneed of Commiskey and Katie (Greg) Lovins of Columbus; mother, Bertha Sneed of Hope; grandchildren, Bret Robbins of Commiskey, and Colby, Gracie, and Jobey Lovins of Columbus; brother, Mark Sneed of Hope; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father; and brother, Jeff Sneed.

Cremation is planned. No services will be held.
