David was born August 28, 1944 in Richmond, IN. to Harold and Edna Mantooth Tatman. He married Ann Keller November 30, 1974 in Hartsville.

David retired from Deckard Tool and Die in Hope. He loved bowling,

fishing, and playing horseshoes.

He is survived by his wife Ann Keller Tatman of Ellenton, Fl.; daughters Teresa (Wayne) Harvey of Ellenton, Fl and Tammy Tatman of Bradenton, Fl.;step son Mike Burton of Seymour; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren;siblings Judy (Ken) Hornbeck of Greensburg , Mary Rachel (Joe) Sage of Hartsville, Gerald (Bonnie Ayler) Tatman of Madison, Jim (Faye) Tatman of Greensburg; sister-in-law Carol (Tim) Tatman of Hartsville; several nieces and nephews and Daisy the cat.

David was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jack and Tim Tatman and a son David Neldon Tatman.

In keeping with David's wishes, cremation is planned and a "Celebration of Life" service will be held at a later date at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery.
