Delores Jean Ault, 81, of Hope, passed away on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at her home.

Born on July 6, 1943 in Columbus, she was the daughter of John R. and Irene K. Finke Nading.  She married H. Frank Ault on September 21, 1962, and he preceded her in death December 7, 2003.

Before retirement Delores was the office manager at Nading Mechanical.  She was certified as a CNA.  She was a notary public for many years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope.

Delores enjoyed fishing, gardening and anything outdoors.  She loved being a mother and grandmother as well as a homemaker.

Delores is survived by children, Matthew (Robbie) Ault of Nineveh, Lisa (Brian) Warner of Hope, David (Patricia) Ault of Hope and Daniel (Lori) Ault of Hope; grandchildren, Deseree' Byrum, Adam Ault, Areyna Ault, Meranda Ault, Chanse Ault, Mykenzie Ault, Ryan Ault, Tanner Ault, Collin Ault and Shelby Ault; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul (Pam) Nading of Hope, Janet Smith of Columbus, Steve (Karen) Nading of Hope, Tim Nading of Columbus and John Nading of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Delores will be held on Monday, August 5 at 12 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday at Norman Funeral Home.  Pastor Dennis Chasteen will officiate the service.  Burial will follow service at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Northern Plains Reservation Aid or First Baptist Church of Hope.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; great-granddaughter, Rose; and twin brother, Morris Nading.
