Dennis K. Lawson, 55 of Columbus died Friday June 8, 2012 at his
home.
He was a self employed roofer. He was a member of Hartsville Church
of Christ and had attended Manhattan College in Manhattan, KS. He loved being
with his grandchildren and car racing.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Randy Roberts officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday from
11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at White River Valley
Cemetery near Medora.
Memorials may be made to Norman Funeral Home to help with funeral
expenses.
Born in Seymour on Dec. 4, 1956, he was the son of the John H and
Karen S. Fleenor Lawson. His mother survives and lives in Seymour. He married
Bonnie G. Stapp on April 24, 1982 and she survives.
He is also survived by children Rhiannon (Bill) Castetter of Columbus,
Keith ( Ashley) Lawson of Hope and Phillip (Lucy) Lawson of Columbus;
grandchildren Avery, Sam and Addyson Castetter, Adron Lawson, Ethan Butler,
Trea Davis and Wraen and Lotus Lasson; sisters Marita (Randy) Roberts of
Chicago and Lisa (Kenneth) Pridmore of Cambry.
He was preceded in death by his father and several aunts and uncles.
