Denvil Reed Moss, 72 of Hope passed away January 6, 2023 at his home.

Born September 9, 1950 in Glasgow, KY he was the son of Henry H. Moss and Peggy Ward Castetter.

He married Brenda Bierlein May 22, 1971 and she survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Denelle (Chris) Heck of Hope, Amanda Moss of Columbus and Kelly (Brent) McKinney of Hope; grandchildren, Richard Tharp, Evan Moss and Payton (Caige) Seaver; great granddaughter, Luna Seaver; siblings, Clark Moss of Columbus and Shirley Drake of Columbus.

Reed had previously been employed at Cummins Engine Company, Ottercreek Golf Course and Timbergate Golf Course.

Reed attended the Hope Wesleyan Church.

He loved hunting and fishing with his best friends Steve and David.

Cremation is planned and there will not be any services.

Reed was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Moss.
