Donald Ray Bell, 60 of Hope died June 28, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood.
He was retired from Cummins Engine Co. where he had been employed for 30 years.
He attended the Salvation Army Church and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army from 1999 - 2005 especially enjoying the Angel Tree Program. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and loved playing with his dog, Abby. He was an avid bowler and a NASCAR fan. Donald was a very loving and kind man to everyone he knew.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with John Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery west of Clifford.
Memorial contributions may be donated to a memorial fund for Donald's family.
Born on June 6, 1950 in North Vernon, IN, Donald was the son of Forrest A. and Dorothy Grinstead Bell. He married June L. Kinworthy Nov. 9, 1969 and she survives.
Also Surviving are children, Donald R. Bell II of New Castle, Crystal D. Bell of Hope and Toby A. (Amy) Bell of IL; brothers, Richard A. Bell and Jerry (Betty) Bell both of Columbus and Wayne (Linda) Bell of Taylorsville and a sister, Nola (Pete) Burton of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by hi parents, and a sister, Carol Ann Green.
