Donald Wayne Coy, 76 of Hope passed away Thursday April 26, 2012 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He was retired from Arvins. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. He attended Hope United Methodist Church. He loved woodworking, IU basketball, fishing, NASCAR and gardening.
The funeral will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev.Ed Mead officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 - 6 pm at the funeral home and on Monday from noon until service time. Burial with military graveside rites will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Born July 20, 1936 in St. Louis Crossing, Mr. Coy was the son of Virgil and Ruby Andrews Coy. He married Jeannine Smith June8, 1980 and she survives.
Other survivors include;children, Sally Willey of Shelbyville, Susan (Tony) Wilson and Joe Coy of Hope, Bryan (Yvonne) Ritz of Scipio and Natalie (Richard) Pelsor of Madison; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Coy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Allen and Keith Coy; a sister, Carol Coy, a grandson Anthony Wilson Jr. and great grandchildren, Dillion, Blane and Kaydenze Burton.
