Dorothy Evelyn Dykes Bragg, 72 of North Vernon passed away
Friday November 7, 2014 at her home.
Before retiring, she was employed at Arvins and after retiring,
she did childcare in her home.
She was a member of Jewell Village Seperate Baptist Church.
She loved NASCAR, word search puzzles, music, cooking and
traveling.
Born November 11, 1941 in Shelby County, Dorothy was the
daughter of Raymond and Della Barnes Dykes. She married Buford
Kenneth Bragg October 21, 1961 and he preceded her in death
January 5, 1995.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home
in Hope with Pastors J.B. Wilson and Harold Summers officiating.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour
prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at
Hawcreek Cemetery.

Survivors include sons, Mark (Elizabeth) Bragg, Morris Bragg,
Jeff (Donna) Bragg and Terry Bragg, all of North Vernon; grandchildren,Andrea (Gerardo) Sanchez, of Indianapolis, Teresa (Dustin) Hayes of Los Angeles, CA, Alisha Bragg of Nashville, TN, Nicholas (Savannah)Bragg of Madison, Johnathan Madden of North Vernon and Klayton Bragg of North Vernon; great grandson, Weston Bragg; siblings, Betty Johnson of Spencer, Bonnie(Bill) Blevens of Morgantown,Charlene Dykes of North Vernon and Shelby (Doris) Dykes of Greensburg.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and siblings,Irene Graham, Dana Dykes and Ronnie Dykes.
