Dorothy A. Thompson's Obituary
Dorothy A. Thompson, 80 of Hope passed away at 9:40 a.m. Saturday June 28, 2008 at her home
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and loved fishing and camping.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 2 at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Dan Shaw officiating. Calling will on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shelby Co.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Hope. IN on October 3, 1927 to Thurman and Bertha Crafton Tindall.She married Paul C. Thompson in Carrollton Ky on June 26, 1948 and he survives.
Also surviving are sons David (Sandy ) Thompson of Flat Rock, Keith D. Thompson of Columbus and Gary D. Thompson of Hope. a daughter in law Joyce Thompson of Linton, IN.; a brother Walter Tindall of Hope,
a sister Sue Taylor of Columbus; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Dennis C. Thompson; brothers
Richard, John , Donald, Charles and Phillip Tindall and a sister Marie Tindall.
