E. Glenn Conover's Obituary
E. Glenn Conover, 73 of Flat Rock died Sunday April 22, 2012 at Hospice
of South Central Indiana.
Mr. Conover had been employed as a truck driver and heavy equipment
operator. He served as a deep sea diver for the U. S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was the self proclaimed mayor of Flat Rock.
Cremation is planned with a private memorial service at a later date. Norman
Funeral Home in Hope is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be
donated to Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 E 17 th St. Columbus, IN 47201.
Mr. Conover was born in Lewis Creek, May 31, 1938. He was the son of
Ermine and Nellie Ellen Baker Conover. He married F. Kay Ozbun July 9, 1971
and she survives.
Other survivors include children Cathy( Kirk) Wade of Washington State,
Glenna Vasquez of Santa Barbara, CA. and Rusty (Jessica) Conover of Elizabethtown;
grandchildren, Gavin, Adam and Nicolas Wade and Charlie and Sydney Vasquez ;
sisters Marybell (Bill) Scott and Bonnie (Norman) Miller both of Shelbyville.
Mr. Conover was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Eris, Max,
Rex and Charles Conover.
