Eileen V. Steinbarger, 91, of Hope died Friday, December 30, 2016 at Miller's Merry Manor in Hope.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America.
Eileen was born on January 16, 1925 in Bartholomew County. She married William Steinbarger, Sr. in February of 1946, and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2005.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Survivors include son, Bill (Lois) Steinbarger, Jr. of Hope; and grandson, Jamie Phelps, of Shelbyville.
Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Mickey Phelps; her grandchilden, Lanetta Bode, Jeremy D. Steinbarger, and Stacy Jaggers; her great-grandchildren, Jessica and Michael; her sisters, Maxine and Norma; and her brothers, Donald Richard, Herb, and Dave.
