Ella Christine R. Whittington, 84 of Hope passed away
Sunday October 26, 2014 at her home.

Before retirement she had been employed at Como Plastics
as a supervisor and Miller's Merry Manor.

She was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed gardening and crafts.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Norman Funeral
Home in Hope with Pastor Warren Kirk officiating. Visitation will
be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to
service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to American Cancer Society/Hope Relay for Life through the funeral home.

Born October 28, 1929 in Clay County, TN, Christine was the daughter of Charlie and Leona Cherry Reecer. She married Danny Whittington July 5, 1983 and he survives.

Other survivors include; sisters, Bonnie Denton of Portland, TN,
Alma Bastin of Beech Grove, IN, and Adell Pennington of Indianapolis,
IN; a stepdaughter, Teresa Whittington of Hope; a stepson, Tony
Whittington of Hope; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two great
grandsons and several nieces and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Roger
Brady; one brother and two sisters.
