Estella L. Metcalf, 75 of Hope passed away at 3:10 p.m. Monday Dec. 29, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor at Hope. Mrs. Metcalf was a homemaker and liked to play card games, do puzzles and read. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m Friday at Norman Funeral Home. Calling will be on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at a later date at Old Union Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana. Born March 23, 1933, Mrs Metcalf was the daughter of George and Effie Richards McKenney. She married Orville Preston Metcalf who preceded her in death Survivors daughters Dena (Donnie) Butler of Morgantown, and Debbie Dolan of Shelbyville ; sons Mark( Sherri) Metcalf of Hope and Randy (Regina) Metcalf of South Carolina ; brother Danny (June) McKenney of Shelbyville; eleven grandchildren andtwelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jessie Caldwell, sister Wilma Bonds ; brothers Don, Chuck, and Bill McKenney and her parents.
