Euna E. Janes Hartwell Riddle, 80, of Hope passed away Saturday December 25, 2021 at Hickory Creek of Columbus Nursing Facility.

Born February 27, 1941 in Adair County, KY Euna was the daughter of Robert and Lorena Jessee Janes.  She married William Russell Hartwell February 22, 1963 and he preceded her in death October 8, 1991.

Before retirement Euna was employed as a nurse's aide at nursing homes in the Hope area.  She also worked in home health care.

Euna was a member of Hope First Wesleyan Church and had previously been a member of First Baptist Church of Hope.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with family.

A funeral for Euna will be conducted Thursday at noon at Hope First Wesleyan Church officiated by Steve Pumphrey.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope and Thursday from 11 to service time at the church.  Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Hope First Wesleyan Church Sewing Group.

Euna is survived by children, Tony (Christina) Nicholas of Greenfield, Yvonne Hartwell (Stephanie Morrissey) of Columbus and Robert (Carla) Hartwell of Hope; grandchildren, Trinity Nicholas, Thomas Morrissey, Gracie Morrissey, Bobby (Jessica) Hartwell, Amber (Sterling) Thompson, Elizabeth (Derick) Sons and A.J. Hartwell (Stacy Case); great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Drake, Abigail, Haven, Willow, Kinley, Henry, Matthew, Alex and Melody and several nieces and nephews.

Euna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Justin Nicholas; sister, Rejina Pumphrey Moore; brother, Jesse Janes and a niece Sheila Dailey.
