Everett N. McIntyre, 77 of Hope died Friday June 11, 2010 at Hospice of South Central Indiana.
He had been a self-employed plumbing contractor in the Hope Area for over 35 years.
He was a lifelong member of the Rugby United Brethren Church. He loved spending time with family and he was an Aviation Enthusiast who enjoyed flying small aircraft.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Mr. McIntyre's son, Pastor Tracy McIntyre and Rev. Norman Wallace officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 - 8 pm and from 10:00 until service time on Wednesday. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Born June 26, 1932 in Bartholomew County, Mr. McIntyre was the son of Frank and Lula Hopkins- McIntyre. He married Phyllis Galbraith on May 4, 1951 and she preceded him in death on December 15, 2004.
Survivors include sons, Everett D. (Debbie) McIntyre and Tony (Cindy) McIntyre both of Hope and Tracy (Darlene) McIntyre of Columbus; grandchildren, Erin McIntyre, Brandon McIntyre, Lindsey McIntyre, Sean McIntyre, Mitch McIntyre and Karressa McIntyre; one great grandson. Owen McIntyre; sisters, Marie (Herman) Otte and Mary (Wayne) Followell both of Columbus and Katherine (David) Platt of Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sisters, Irene Narwold, Martha Chappelow and Nellie Shepherd.
