Flora L. Kelley, 77 of Hope died Saturday November 27, 2010 at 10:15 pm
at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She had worked as a QMA at Ken Joy Nursing Home and Columbus Convalescent
Center and was a homemaker after that.
She was a member of the Midway Assembly of God Church. She was a doll collector,
loved sewing, teaching sunday school and gardening.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor
Virl L. Murray officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Shelby County. Visitation
will be Wednesday from 11:00 am until service time of 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Midway Assembly of God Church.
Born on July 31, 1933 in Marion, Ky, Flora was the daughter of Thomas Henry and
Lillis Inez Farmer Holloman. She married Larry Dale Kelley September 2, 1956 in Sharpsville, IN
and he preceded her in death on November 28, 2003.
Survivors include sons, Allen Dale (Susie) Kelley of Hope, Larry Dean (Mary) Kelley of
Queensville and Chuck (Tamala) Kelley of Clifford; daughters, Lillis Maona (Rick) Smith of
Scipio, Angie (Joe) Francis of Freetown, Sallie (Jimmy) Kelley-Stark of Elizabethtown and
Omega (Jerry) Holley of Clifford; brothers, Thomas (Sui) Holloman of Anderson and James (Beaulah)
Holloman of Sharpsville; twenty five grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Flora was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
