Florence A. Burton, 82, of Columbus, died Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Keepsake Village.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope.

Born August 28, 1936, Florence was the daughter of Berl Reed and Ruey Cooley Landis.

She married Arthur Burton October 17, 1953, and he survives.

Other survivors include children, Rhonda Burton, Richard Burton and Shelly Frazee all of Columbus and Ronald Burton of Greensburg; grandchildren, Shana Ferguson of West Baden Springs, Arthur Burton of Franklin, Michael Burton, Nicole Kirby, Andy Isgrigg, and Tammy Coon, all of Columbus; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for Florence will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Cremation will follow, then burial

of her cremains will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
