Obituary

George G. Foust, 81 of Scipio passed away Saturday February 9, 2013 at Willow Crossing Health Center.
He retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 25 years of service and
worked for Capital American Insurance for 9 years and at Ceraland Park for 2 years.
He graduated from Columbus High School and served in the U.S. Army for 2 years and during the Korean Conflict.
He loved gospel music and was a member of the Hymn Singers Quartet at the Newbern United Methodist Church.
He was a member and former deacon and elder of the Burnsville Christian Church.
He was also a member of the former Alert Masonic Lodge and a member of the Murat Shriners in Indianapolis.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Richard Yeaton officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 4 - 7 pm and Tuesday from 1:00 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lower Union Cemetery in Decatur County.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of Jennings County or Burnsville Christian Church through the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the Foust
Born August 8, 1931 near St. Louis Crossing, George was the son of George Sr. and Ruth Armstrong Foust. He married Nellie Jayne Foust October 5, 1951 and she survives.
Other survivors include, a daughter, Lisa A. Spiegel of Indianapolis; granddaughters,Sophia and Olivia Spiegel of Indianapolis; sisters, Katheen Keers and Thelma Ameter of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Raymond Good; sisters,Dorcas Ace and Martha Fox and a son, Mark Alan Foust.
