Gladys Marcille Roarks, 94, of Hope died Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Aperion Care in Waldron.

Gladys was retired from being a cook at Shelby Manor.

Born on March 23, 1925 in Shelby County, Gladys was the daughter of Walter Martin and Hazel Horner Shirley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Roarks.

Gladys is survived by her children, Eric Crain of Kentucky and Leon (Shirley) Crain of Illinois.

She is also preceded in death by her children, Robert Crain and Marie Crain.

A service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Douglas officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
