Gladys Marie Swift's Obituary
Gladys Marie Swift, 78, of Hope died Friday August 2, 2013
at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
She was a member of Hope
Moravian Church
, Ladies Society
and Moravian Adult Sunday School Class. She loved working
jigsaw puzzles, word search puzzles, embroidery and loved watching
soap operas.
The funeral will be
Monday at 1:00 p.m
. at Hope Moravian Church
with Jeff Van Orden officiating.
The visitation will be Sunday from 3 - 7
at the church and
on Monday
from noon until service time at the church.
Burial will be at Rest Haven
Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Our Hospice of South Central
Indiana, Hope Food Bank or Breast Cancer Awareness.
Born January 8, 1935 in Brown County, Gladys was the daughter of Dewey
and Eliza Ann Cook Swift.
Survivors include sisters, Alice (Allen) Heck and Anna Couch of Taylorsville;
nieces, Jennifer (the late Steve) Gates of Columbus, Sandy (Junior) Wall of
Columbus, Lisa Heck of Taylorsville, Brenda Setser of Columbus; a nephew,
Brian Heck of Columbus; great nieces, Stephanie Gates and Jessica Morrow of
Columbus, Heather Heck of Taylorsville and Megan Freeman of Ironton, OH;
great nephew, David Gates, Justin and Cory Heck and Jeffery Tilson, all of
Columbus and great-great nephews, Wyatt Heck of Taylorsville and Steven
Gates and Mason Morrow of Columbus.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn June Swift
and a great-great- nephew Axel Colt Heck.
