Glenn Allen Olmstead, 77, of Hope passed away Thursday February 13, 2025 at Brown County Health and Living.

Born February 15, 1947 in Columbus he was the son of Jettie and Freeda Stater Olmstead.

Before retirement Glenn was employed at Cummins Engine Company.  After retirement he worked at different businesses as a security guard.

He served in the U.S. Airforce.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.

A funeral service for Glenn will be Thursday February 20th at 1:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Thursday.  Pastor Ed Cottrell will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery in the town of Flat Rock.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Hope Volunteer Fire Department through the funeral home.

Glenn is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Clifford Olmstead, Minnie Stitt, Edna Olmstead Wood, Floyd "Bud" Olmstead and Marshall Olmstead.
