Gregg Lyle, 55, of Edinburgh died Saturday November 6, 2010 at 3:54 am at Methodist Hospital
in Indianapolis.
He was a self employed mechanic. He was an avid fan of racing and had built and raced his own
cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Ed Boston
officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 at the funeral home and from noon until service time on
Wednesday. Burial will be at Sandcreek Cemetery north of Azalia..
Memorial contributions may be donated to a fund for his granddaughters through the Funeral Home.

Born on September 3, 1955 in Columbus, Gregg was the son of the late Lester Lyle and Lucille Gilliland.
He married Shelia Smith June 2, 1979 and she survives.
Other survivors are his mother Lucille and step father Harold Gilliland of Hope; daughter, Shana (Billy) Brooks
of Clifford; granddaughters, Shaylee, Baylee and Macaylee Brooks of Clifford; sisters, Gail (Rick) Wilson and
Carla (Rick) Emmitt, both of Hope and Karen (Larry) Love of Columbus; step sisters, Nancy Berkenstock
of Hartsville, Joyce (Steve) Garrison and Lisa (Tony) Garrison, both of Columbus; step brother. Donald (Kim)
Gilliland of Columbus and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Giles and Mr. & Mrs.
Forrest Lyle.
