Hallie J. Henderson, 83 of Columbus died Friday November 20, 2009 at Columbus Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Cremation is planned and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be donated to Hospice of South Central Indiana.
She was born on October 24, 1926 in Boston, Ky. Sge was the daughter of Wilbur and Pauline Mobley Vandiver. She married Cecil W. Henderson II on July 7, 1946 and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2006.
She attended Faith Chapel Church. She was a housewife and enjoyed the outdoors and doing embroidery.
Survivors include children, Cecilia J. Henderson, Cecil W.(Melinda) Henderson III and Clarence H. Henderson all of Columbus and Edna P. (Charles) Caldwell of Hope; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Laura (Earl) Mayse and Elizabeth (George) Adams and a brother Joe (Mary) Vandiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, William Vandiver.
