Hazel Foust Conner, 99, a resident of the Franklin Methodist Community died at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday December 22, 2010 at the
the Methodist Community.
Mrs. Conner was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church; 50 year member of the Eastern Star; Indiana Farm Bureau; former 4-H leader in Bartholomew County; Columbus Senior Center ; Pink Lady at the Columbus Hospital; Home Ec Club member and AOA Sorority
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Norman Funeral Home In Hope with Rev. Mitch Norwood and Paul Johnson officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday form 10:00 a.m. unitl service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Central Indiana or Asbury United Methodist Church.
Born June 11, 1911 in Flat Rock Township, Mrs. Conner was the daughter od George B and Minnie Cox Foust, She married Washington E Conner in October of 1931 and he preceded in death on June 26, 1972.
Survivors include children Tom (Catherine) Conner of Ashville, Ohio, Virginia (Harlan) Burbrink of Edinburg and Don (Kathleen) Conner of Ashland, Ky.; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren
Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband; brothers Ernest and Thomas Foust; sister Evelyn Foust and half sister Louise Olinger Walburn.
