Hazel Marie Dean Phillips, 76, of Hope passed from this life at 3:45 am June 14, 2020 at Miller's Merry Manor.

Formerly of Medora, Seymour IN and Birmingham, AL, she was born in Washington County north of Salem, Indiana on October 22, 1943, the daughter of Bradley Dean and Geneva (Brock Dean) Eglen.

She is survived by her sister Rose Etta Meadors of Crystal River, Florida and sons, Michael Dean (Tina) of Hope, IN, Richard Lee Phillips (Dorinda) and Bradley Dean Phillips (Anna) of Seymour, IN.

She left grandchildren Tanner H. Dean (Audrey) of Franklin, IN, Mason Bradley Dean of Hope, Carsen Rose Dean of Athens, GA, Michael Wayne Osborne (Jerri) of Mitchell, IN and Peyton Phillips of Seymour, IN.

She had Four great-grandchildren, Jordyn Jo Dean of Franklin, Lilah Ann Dean of Plainfield, IN, Justice and Jozi Osborne of Mitchell, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Horace Eglen, and brothers, Virgil Brock Dean and Arvil Bradley Dean of Medora.  Also half brothers Carlise, Bradley Jr., and Arnold and half sisters Lola and Opal from Harlan, Kentucky.

Cremation was conducted by Norman Funeral Home with final burial at a later date in Lawrence County, IN at Proctor Cemetery.
