James Robert "Jim Bob" Blackburn, 31 of Shelbyville died Thursday February 26, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Blackburn was head chef for T-Bone Food Service at Shebyville Eagles Lodge where he was a member. James enjoyed music, cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends and raising his daughters. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Shelbyville Community Church with Pastor Brad Davis officiating. Calling will be at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. untill 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery. Memorial contributions will be accepted at the Community Church or to Jo Blackburn or Yvonne Williams at Chase Banking for the benefit of his daughters. A dinner will be held at the church immediately following the burial. Jim Bob was born in Haiti on Dec. 2, 1977. He is survived by his mother Kathryn Lortz Blackburn of Shelbyville and his father Danny Blackburn of North Vernon. Other survivors include his daughters Amber Rasdall-Blackburn and Havanna Blackburn both of Shelbyville and siblings Chuck,Scott,Mary,Rose,Rebekah,Yvonne,Toma,Sam,Cheryl,Bobby,JoAnna,Steve,Adwoa.Elizabeth,Benji,Jemima,Jeremiah,Aaron,Noah,Gideon,Abigail,jacob,Matthew,Rachael,Thaddeus,Caleb,Mike,Mark, Andy and Mammy.
