James "Jim" H. Moss, 61 of Hope passed away Thursday March 19, 2009 at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Moss had worked at Cosco for several years. He had attended Columbus Community Church and liked to fix up old cars, attend car shows and flea markets. He also played the guitar and loved music. The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Norman Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Boston officiating. Calling will be on Tuesday from 11:00 p.m until service time. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Moss fund thru Norman Funeral Home . Born in Barren Co. KY. Oct 26, 1947 he was the son of Henry Hobson and Ollie Marie Ward Moss. Survivors include daughters Tina Marie (Kevin) Wallace of Hope and April Joann Moss of Columbus; brothers Clark and Reed (Brenda) Moss of Hope; sister Shirley Drake of North Vernon; grandchildren Dustin Michael of Columbus, Kortney, Kylee,and Kolton Wallace of Hope and Miley Moss of Columbus ; several nieces and nephews; former step children Tonya Blackburn and Tammy Fife; thirteen former step grandchildren and formerwifes Elizabeth "Liz" Everroad Dean and Rosy Moss. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Moss, mother Ollie "Peggy" Castetter and step father Henry Castetter.
